Across the bridge: two restaurants with terraces: Kolkzicht and De Drie Musketiers. Giethoorn on 20 beautiful cycling kilomters, Kalenberg is one amazing hour walking, Blokzijl 14 km. Steenwijk 15 carminutes, Meppel 20, Heerenveen 30 and Zwolle 30. And 1 tiny kilometer to the whisperboat.
